NORFOLK, VA., June 21, 2001 Players around the world are enjoying the great gameplay, revolutionary artwork, and dynamic tournament program that has made Decipher's new Jedi Knights Trading Card Game a 'must-play' challenge.

Standard

A typical constructed-style format where each player uses their own 60 card decks (one Light Side and one Dark Side), created using any Decipher cards and/or Virtual Cards from the “standard Virtual Sets.” (No “legacy” Virtual Cards may be used.)

Legacy

  • The Tournament Software is testing in Google Chrome and only guaranteed to work with that browser. What is the difference between Online and Offline mode? In online mode, whenever you save your tournament data, that data is saved up to the Player’s Committee server.
  • Proceeds from the golf tournament help support mental health initiatives that benefit individuals and families in the greater Cumberland County area. The golf event was sponsored by Newfield National Bank.

Sealed Deck

An event where players construct their decks immediately prior to the tournament after opening sealed packs and “drafting” cards out of those packs. Players do not need to bring any cards to these events, as they will build their deck from the sealed packs that are opened up prior to the tournament.

Watto’s Chance Cube

A sealed deck-style event where players construct their decks immediately prior to the tournament after “drafting” them from a pre-determined card pool known as “the Cube.” So, instead of constructing a deck from randomized packs, the decks are constructed using familiar (and often times more useful) cards contained within the Cube. Players do not need to bring any cards to these events, as they will build their deck from the Cube brought by the Tournament Director.

The health and well-being of our gaming community, including players, judges, store owners and organizers, is of paramount importance to us. The 2021 Championship season is being designed with the safety of the community in mind. Extensive discussions with event organizers and careful review of the advice provided by national health authorities has guided our planning for 2021.Organized play support will continue with exciting events held online and in stores in regions where it is safe and legal to do so. Large scale regional events will be hosted online, while stores will host smaller qualifying events. Stores may elect to run events online or in person, provided that is permitted within your country, state or region. There is no ongoing requirement to run in-store events during the current coronavirus pandemic.
Stores have the flexibility to be able to design purchase promotions for their store community using organized play support. Stores are recommended to continue registering for events to ensure receipt of ongoing promotional support to reward their in-store communities.
While stores are independent of Bandai, organizers of store events should act in the best interest of their community and be mindful of the safety of players. We look forward to resuming large-scale, in-person events as soon as it is safe to do so, and hope that you will enjoy our online and store events until that time.
Stay safe and well!
